What I had always thought of as a closet in Uncle's den turned out to look
like an elevator inside. LAzarus Long and I went into it together; he closed the
door and I saw that, where an elevator usually has floor numbers with
touchplates for each number, there was a display of lighted symbols-signs of the
Zodiac I thought, then changed my mind, as there is no bat in the Zodiac, no
black widow spider, certainly no stegosaurus
